We are a small, progressive law firm located in downtown Vancouver specialized in refugee, immigration and criminal law. The successful candidate will be responsible for the conduct of a wide variety of client files in a friendly and supportive environment.
Experience and Qualifications:
-Demonstrated interest in human rights and social justice
-J.D. or LL.B. degree and called to the bar for at least 2 years
-Relevant experience in the areas of refugee, immigration and/or criminal law
-Relevant court/tribunal experience
-Excellent legal research and writing skills
-Excellent oral and written communication skills
-Experience with marginalized communities
-Ability to manage a full case load and work in a fast-paced environment
