We work diligently to secure our clients’ release in a timely manner, while ensuring that they understand the immigration consequences of any criminal sentence they may be serving.

Non-citizens who are serving custodial sentences may face particular difficulties in obtaining parole, particularly where they are subject to an enforceable removal order. Our firm has expertise representing non-citizens for purposes of their Parole Board hearings, particularly where they may be seeking parole for deportation.

Canadians who are convicted of criminal offences overseas may be eligible to serve their sentence in Canada. Our firm has particular expertise assisting Canadians in this situation to obtain a transfer and navigate the associated transfer process.
