Suzanne Baustad
Senior Paralegal

Suzanne (pronouns: she/her) has worked as an immigration and refugee paralegal at Edelmann & Company since 2007. She assists lawyers and clients with refugee claims, temporary and permanent resident immigration applications as well as all aspects of hearing preparation, judicial reviews, and appeals.

Suzanne has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Calgary and a Masters in International Development Studies from Sussex University, UK. She has a Paralegal Diploma from Capilano University and a Certificate in Immigration: Laws, Policies and Procedures from the University of British Columbia.

Suzanne is a member of the British Columbia Paralegal Association and works with a number of community-based migrant justice, anti-poverty, and women’s organizations. She enjoys travel, biking, dog walks and spending time with her two children.
