Duties include:
-Answering phones, directing calls
-Greeting clients
-Booking meetings, scheduling interpreters and managing the office calendar
-General scanning and filing.
-Data-entry, including processing payments
-Preparing court materials (printing, binding, punching)
-Making regular trips to the post-office (~1 block away)
-Ordering supplies
-Basic office cleaning
-Other basic office tasks, as required.
Skills required:
-Ability to keep all client information completely confidential
-Ability to prioritize and multi-task
-A pleasant and professional phone manner
-Good computer skills, with the ability to learn new software
-Comfortable dealing with people from a variety of cultural, educational and economic backgrounds
–Demonstrated interest in working with various cultures and marginalized communities is an asset
-Fluent in English (oral and written), required
-Fluency in another language (Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Arabic, Farsi or Punjabi) an asset.
