Yussif Silva
Articled student

Yussif Silva (pronouns: he/him) holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Common Law from Peter A. Allard School of Law (University of British Columbia). In Brazil, Yussif clerked at the State of Amazonas Court of Appeal and practiced a wide range of legal matters, highlighting Constitutional and Administrative challenges regarding underprivileged people’s rights. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the Federal University of Amazonas (Brazil) and a Specialization in Civil Procedure Diploma from Damasio Law School (Brazil). Grandson of Palestinian immigrants, Yussif is passionate about helping newcomers with their immigration and refugee matters to fulfill their Canadian Dream. Before joining Edelmann & Co, Yussif was a clinician at the Access Pro Bono Society of BC and the Law Students Legal Advice Program (LSLAP) at UBC. He can assist you in English, Spanish and Portuguese. Former Judo Athlete, Yussif is fond of Martial Arts, Soccer and Skiing.
